BeMedResident Terms of Use and Refund Policy

BeMedResident is a Florida-based educational interview-practice platform. These Terms of Use and Refund Policy (together, the Terms) apply when you visit or use bemedresident.com. By using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Read our Privacy Notice to understand how we process personal data.

1. Educational purpose — not medical, legal, or career advice

BeMedResident provides interview-practice questions, educational resources, and AI-assisted feedback. It is for educational and informational purposes only.

  • It is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or a healthcare service.
  • It is not legal advice or individualized career counseling.
  • It does not guarantee an interview invitation, residency match, program placement, employment outcome, or any other result.
  • Do not use the service for an emergency. For a medical emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number.

Residency requirements, application processes, and medical guidance change. Verify important information with the applicable official source or a qualified professional.

2. Accounts and acceptable use

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your chosen sign-in method secure. You may use the service only lawfully and may not:

  • access another person's account or content without authorization;
  • bypass access controls, quotas, payment controls, or security measures;
  • use bots, scrapers, or automated means to copy the service or question bank without written permission;
  • submit unlawful, harmful, infringing, or confidential material that you do not have the right to submit; or
  • interfere with the availability or security of the service.

We may suspend or terminate access for a material violation of these Terms or to protect users or the service.

3. AI-assisted feedback and sensitive information

AI feedback and suggested answers can be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or inappropriate for your circumstances. Review output critically and use your own judgment. AI output is not reviewed by a physician, attorney, program director, or other professional before it is shown to you.

Do not submit protected health information, patient identifiers, Social Security numbers, passwords, financial-account information, confidential application materials, or other sensitive personal information. BeMedResident is not offered as a HIPAA-compliant service and is not intended to receive or store protected health information.

4. Payments, automatic renewal, cancellation, and refunds

Paid access is processed by Stripe. The price, duration, and payment type shown at checkout control for that purchase. Prices are stated in U.S. dollars. Any applicable tax or final total is shown before you submit payment.

  • Monthly Premium automatically renews: You authorize Stripe to charge the payment method you select at checkout for $15.89 each month until you cancel. The renewal terms and next billing date are shown at checkout and in your Stripe billing record.
  • Cancel online or contact support: For Monthly Premium, use Manage billing in your signed-in dashboard to cancel future renewal. You may also email info@bemedresident.com from your account email. Cancellation stops future recurring charges; access continues through the paid period unless applicable law requires otherwise. We do not charge a cancellation fee.
  • Fixed-duration plans: The Interview Season Pass and other fixed-duration plans are one-time purchases that provide access for the stated duration. They do not automatically renew.
  • Limited refund policy: We will refund an initial purchase when we receive the request within 3 calendar days of the charge and the account has not completed more than 3 AI analyses after that purchase. One limited refund is available per account. Renewals, unused time after the refund window, and purchases outside these limits are not refundable except where required by applicable law.
  • Email your account email, purchase date, and request to info@bemedresident.com. If approved, refunds are returned to the original payment method. Financial institutions may take additional time to post the refund.

Nothing in this section limits a non-waivable consumer right that applies to you.

5. Intellectual property

BeMedResident, its question bank, educational content, design, software, and branding are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the service during your access period. No other license or ownership interest is granted.

6. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided on an as available basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties not expressly stated in these Terms, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your needs.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BeMedResident and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, or opportunities, arising from use of the service. Our aggregate liability for a claim arising from the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or $100. This section does not limit liability that cannot legally be limited.

7. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Where permitted by law, disputes arising from these Terms will be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Florida. Consumer-protection laws that cannot be waived continue to apply where required.

8. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms when the service or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be posted on this page before or when they take effect, unless a different notice is required by law.
